Skotel Alpine Resort

Comprising 53 rooms, the environmentally friendly Skotel Alpine Resort Whakapapa is near a historic district, 4.3 km from the Iwikau Village. Located around a 25-minute walk from the Mead's Wall, the 3-star hotel faces the landscape and features a sundeck and a shared lounge.

This perfect resort is right in the centre of Whakapapa, a stone's throw from the Tama Lakes. The Skotel Alpine Resort is only 150 metres from Tongariro Northern Circuit and only 200 metres from the Ridge Walking Track. Hot springs and a mountain are also near the property. The hotel is located near a train station.

Our favourite hotel in Tongariro National Park, staff was helpful. Everything was nice including location and views. A pleasant bar does the trick. The owner upon arrival was friendly. The balcony was a wonderful addition to the room. Also, they provide Wi-Fi.
