The environmentally friendly Skotel Alpine Resort Whakapapa includes 53 rooms and is situated around a 5-minute walk from Whakapapanui Stream. Facing landscape views, this 3-star resort is 4.6 km from the Whakapapaiti Hut and offers an à la carte restaurant plus snow skiing and ping-pong.

Our favourite hotel in Tongariro National Park, staff was helpful. Everything was nice including location and views. A pleasant bar does the trick. The owner upon arrival was friendly. The balcony was a wonderful addition to the room. Also, they provide Wi-Fi.
